The college has first-class facilities for all learners including: twelve learning resource bases equipped with an average of fifteen networked PCs; the Centenary Learning Centre which includes the main college library and a learndirect centre: an in-house hair and beauty salon named The Style Zone; a drama and sports halls; sound, video-editing and multimedia rooms; carpentry, gas and plumbing workshops; the newly refurbished Pavilion Restaurant and an on-site shop.

CONEL delivers a wide range of academic and vocational courses in subjects including: business, administration, art and design, ESOL, adult English and maths, humanities, hairdressing, interior design, plumbing, computing, science, languages, sports and recreation and many more. The college has also extended its learning provision by providing courses through CollegeXtra – the alternative solution for learners who wish to study in the evening or at the weekend. Courses on offer cover activities ranging from beauty therapy to furniture making.
