Martin combined his love of dance music with journalism during his two years on the Newspaper and Magazine Journalism HND at Cornwall College. Martin says: “Initially I want to get a job as a reporter on a local newspaper – I’ve already had a couple of interviews. Long term I’d love to be a music or sports columnist.” Martin produced a regular dance column for Plymouth’s Evening Herald in which he interviewed a number of celebrity DJs. The Newspaper and Magazine Journalism course is now available as a two year full-time Foundation Degree.

"Where better to study, than a state-of-the-art food innovation centre." Sabrina came to study the foundation degree through an interest in food and manufacturing. Currently she is in the first year of the course and has really enjoyed the practical aspects of the subject such as Food Processing and Food Safety.
