As one of the largest Colleges in the UK with four main sites across West London, and numerous smaller community locations, it is perhaps no surprise that every year more than 23,000 students enrol on one of the many courses offered by Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College (EHWLC).

EHWLC thinks that 'Big is Beautiful' and has a proud record of providing a lifeline for students who want to learn a new subject or who want to gain qualifications to secure the job of their dreams. More than 500 courses are offered, ranging from basic learning development and pre-vocational qualifications to postgraduate and professional levels.

What's on offer

EHWLC consists of four very different sites, each of which has its own identity, as well as a large number of community locations providing a variety of subject areas to suit almost any learner.

Acton & West London College:
Acton is the College’s new centre of technological excellence having undergone major building work to extend and improve the facilities on offer. Acton offers a wide range of courses in many subjects including: Construction, Electronic and Motor Vehicle Engineering, Information Technology, ESOL and Adult Basic Education.

Ealing & West London College:
The College offers a range of full-time post GCSE, academic and vocational Courses, as well as tuition in English for speakers of other Languages (ESOL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Recent refurbishments have significantly improved the facilities of The Sixth Form Centre and a new centre is being built to house the state-of-the art facilities of the new Ealing Institute of Media.

Hammersmith & West London College:
Offers a large number of full-time programmes including A Levels and BTEC National Diplomas and a wide range of courses for adults including basic skills and ESOL, Access to Higher Education and Professional courses.

Southall & West London College:
Provides an outstanding teaching and learning environment incorporating the latest technology as a result of the £10 million investment in the site over the last three years. The Sixth Form Centre specialises in full time courses for 16-18 year olds, and there are separate facilities for Adult learning in areas such as: Accounting, IT and ‘Skills for Life’ which includes English, Maths and ESOL.

All of the College sites are based within easy walking distance of underground or mainline stations and well linked to main bus routes. The surrounding areas offer a vibrant mix of shops, parks, cafes and bars.
