Based in north London, Middlesex University is one of the UK’s largest Universities. Its academic heritage can be traced back to the late nineteenth century origins of its founding colleges. Middlesex University’s Summer School is the leading summer programme for university-level short courses in the UK. Now in its fourteenth year, our Summer School is the largest of its kind in the UK.

What's on offer
During July and early August in the region of 1000 students will attend Summer School from across the UK, Europe and many other countries, choosing from more than 90 courses on offer. Courses vary in length from two days to five weeks.

Some courses are specially designed for Summer School, though many others are taken from across the university's undergraduate curriculum and adapted for the shorter summer timeframe. Choices exist at all levels from introductory to advanced, providing plenty of opportunities to develop creative talents, learn new skills, progress to a degree at Middlesex or pursue academic interests. Classes are small, interactive and informal, helping lecturers to meet individual student needs. The friendly mix of students ensures a rewarding and exciting opportunity to enhance learning by sharing ideas and experiences.
