Salford College is a specialist vocational College in Greater Manchester. Based on two main campuses, Worsley Campus in Worsley, and City Campus in Central Salford, we offer a wide range of courses at many levels. We offer courses for young learners, adult learners both in the community and work to gain qualifications or simply for leisure learning.

Being a specialist vocational College means that we are expert in offering job-related courses that teach the skills that employers are looking for. Many of our courses are taught by tutors who have worked in that vocational area, so we really know what we are talking about.

What's on offer
Learners join one of the following subject areas through a Pathway to Work or a Pathway to Study:

Many such courses are available from beginners through to degree level. Adults who wish to improve their essential skills follow ‘Skills for Life’ courses, which include basic maths, English and computing, ESOL, life skills and a range of leisure courses such as Crafts, Languages, Animal Care, Sign Language and First Aid.

Companies wishing to undertake bespoke training programmes, or arrange upskilling for their employees, follow ‘Skills for Business and Industry’ programmes, which cover a whole range of professional and company-specific training. The College is also a learndirect centre, enabling students to access online learning.
