West Thames College is a Beacon Award-winning College with one of the highest success rates in London. The College also had an excellent Ofsted inspection in 2007. It is a vibrant, multicultural, friendly and supportive college of further and higher education with campuses in Isleworth and Feltham, West London. Around 6,500 students choose to study at West Thames every year - not just from London, but from all over the world.

In addition to A levels, the college specialises in vocational courses from introductory level right up to Degree level. Teachers are industry professionals and students have access to state-of the-art facilities.

West Thames is an associate college of Kingston University and TVU.

West Thames College specialises in professional, vocational, specialist training - preparing students with the practical skills they need for their chosen career. Students have access to the very best facilities on their courses: construction, motor vehicle and engineering workshops, kitchens, hair and beauty salons, specialist design studios, performance spaces, IT and multimedia suites, recording and editing suites and a TV studio.

All students have a personal tutor to help them to succeed with their studies. Students also have access to careers advice and guidance, a nurse/counsellor and a nursery on site offering childcare.

Extra-curricular activities include: football for men and women, cricket, badminton, basketball and netball, with successful college teams competing in national leagues. Plus keep fit, self-defence, dance and yoga. There is a new fitness suite and an outdoor sports pitch.

The student's union organise events throughout the year such as fundraising days, talent shows, awareness raising events, tournaments, competitions, trips and parties.

The student common room has a cyber café for surfing the internet and checking email, a jukebox, plasma screen TV, pool tables, Playstation, table football, video and board games. Higher Education students have their own common room.
