Westminster Adult Education Service, an enterprise of Westminster City Council, is one of the largest providers of adult education in the UK. It offers over 1,100 courses for adults, of all abilities and levels, from essential skills to degree and professional qualifications, many of which are recognised by public examination bodies. Courses are offered at over 80 convenient venues across the city with courses designed to suit the modern lifestyle. There is a full range of evening and weekend courses as well as a part-time daytime provision so you can study at a pace that suits you.

What's on offer
All courses are taught by professionally qualified teachers who are industry professionals. Learners benefit from their up-to-date subject knowledge and first hand experience of latest technology and work practices. All students receive individual learning plans and personal tutorials to help them achieve their aims while on the course. This is backed up by a comprehensive student support service that includes open days offering expert advice from teachers, a dedicated careers advice service and additional learning support services.

The service also offers courses for disabled students. Students’ needs are fully assessed at enrolment and tailor-made support is offered either in class or through a series of specially designed workshops outside class. Students who find they need extra help once they have joined their classes can request it at any time. Specialist equipment can be provided if necessary.

All courses are competitively priced, and our fees are often considerably less than other providers. On most courses, we are able to offer substantial concessions for anyone on means-tested benefits.
